Below is a list of ships built at the Fairfield Yard in Govan by BAE Systems from 2002 until present. BAE Systems is a member of the Aircraft Carrier Alliance (ACA) and is in partnership with Babcock, Thales and the Ministry of Defence to build 2 Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carriers.

The mid section of the first carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth has just been completed at Govan, the mid section labeled Lower Block 03 is 60 metres long, 20 metres high, 40 metres wide and weighs 8,000 tonne, as this page is being written (22nd Aug 20011) the mid section is making its way round the West Coast of Scotland on a sea barge to Rosyth (See Video) where the HMS Queen Elizabeth will be will be assembled by the ACA consortium. A second section (Lower Block 03) is also under construction at the Fairfields Yard and in May 2011 the first piece of steel was cut on the carriers sister ship HMS Prince of Wales at Govan.
